Raspberry Brittle Mocktail

Here is a crunchy, sparkling Mocktail treat! It is a Sparkling Raspberry Brittle Mocktail, great for parties or upcoming spring BBQ’s. It’s easy to make, refreshing, and will make you look like a high class host or hostess with the mostest. So let’s get right to it!

What you need:

  • 1 10-ounce bottle of chilled sparkling water with citrus or tropical flavor
  • 1 chilled 23-ounce bottle of sparkling water *Raspberry or Blackberry flavor
  • 1 750-ml bottle of sparkling white grape juice or sparkling apple juice (also make sure it is chilled)
  • Edible flowers(such as pot marigolds, violas, pansies, or dianthus)
  • a good amount of Fresh raspberries and/or fresh fruit
  • Raspberry brittle.

*RASPBERRY BRITTLE

Pour one cup of water into the bottom of a 15x10x1-inch baking pan with sides (or use a 13x9x2-inch baking pan)

Sprinkle surface of water evenly with about 1/2 cup of edible flowers.

Sprinkle surface of water evenly with 1 cup fresh raspberries or other fresh fruit.

Freeze 3 hours or overnight. To unmold, allow to stand at room temp for 5 or 10 minutes till ice can be separated from pan. Remove from pan and break into large and small chunks. Place in punch just before serving.

What you need to do:

COMBINE: berry flavored sparking water, sparkling grape or apple cider, and citrus or tropical sparkling water in a medium sized punch bowl.

Top with some chunks of Raspberry Brittle.

Top each glass of punch with an additional piece of the Raspberry Brittle.

Now enjoy and wait for the compliments!

Garden Salad Special-Juice Diet

Here is the next recipe I have for you. This one is also a full fledged meal. I’m a huge fan of anything that tastes hearty and savory, especially while juicing. It helps with the feeling that you infact AREN’T starving yourself. and added little perk is you can use the pulp that is left to make a amazing soups, which are perfect for a dinner after a day of juicing.
Here is the recipe for the “GARDEN SALAD SPECIAL” *remember to always cut off stems, and take out seeds of any fruit or vegitable so you don’t hurt your juicer. also, some skins and seeds do more harm than good if ingested*

GARDEN SALAD SPECIAL
3Broccoli Florrets (don’t use the stems, you can add them to your soup later!)
1 Garlic clove
4-5 Carrots or Tomatoes (I did both, and it gave it the perfect touch)
2 Celery Stalks
1/2 Green Pepper

So, you are toasting to a special occasion, but maybe you’re expecting, or you’re Lindsay Lohan and have bracelet on that won’t let you drink. Here is an absolute PERFECT mocktail recipe alternative to that bubbly. It tastes great and you won’t be suffering from a headache in the morning!

MOCK CHAMPAGNE
2 liters Apple Cider or Apple Juice
2 liters Ginger Ale
optional Grenadine Syrup
Pour apple cider and ginger ale into a punch
bowl. Add enough grenadine to make a light pink
color. Serve with ice cubes in each glass. Serves
16-20

When I think of summer I think of the beautiful sunrises, and sunsets on the beach. It’s always nice to watch with a cocktail in hand. However I don’t always want to be “boozing it up” especially if kids, or driving is involved. Here is an alternative recipe for a perfect summer mocktail.

No-Tequila Sunrise Mocktail Recipe

2 oz Orange Juice
2 oz Pineapple Juice
1/2 oz Cranberry Juice
2 oz Lemon/Lime Soda
1/4 oz Grenadine
*Combine everything but soda in shaker half
filled with ice, strain into glass & add soda
